How to Install lua50 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

lua50 software package provides Small embeddable language with simple procedural syntax, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lua50

lua50 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lua50 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lua50 *

You will get with lua50 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
